5.   Add it to your basket and process the transaction

Payment
Full payment is due when you register online at www.ymcagta.org. Full payment is preferred when registering by phone or mail. Although you can make an initial payment of $50 for each camper at the time of registration and pay the balance on June 4, 2012. Registrations received after June 4, 2012, must be paid in full. If full payment is not received prior to camp start date the YMCA reserves the right to cancel the registration and cancellation charges will be applied.

Cancellations & Refunds
Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to the YMCA Registration Centre. Requests for refunds received prior to 28 days will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 10% of the total fee or $25 (whichever is greater). Refund requests received with less than 28 days notice are subject to an administration fee of 50% of the total fee. Refund requests that are received after 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the camp session starts will not qualify for a refund. Any refund requests are considered on an individual basis by the YMCA Manager. A doctor’s note is required for cancellations due to medical reasons. Refunds are not granted for inclement weather. Refund requests received after August 31, 2012, will not be granted. Refunds take four to six weeks to process.

Government Subsidy
Families who currently receive government child care subsidy from their local municipality or region can attend YMCA Day Camps and Summer Clubs. The fee you pay is based on your daily rate. Contact your government worker to request a transfer to the YMCA for the summer. If your child currently attends YMCA Child Care contact your site Director. Ask about our convenient payment plans. Families who receive government subsidy cannot register online. Overnight programs are not covered by government subsidy.

Special Needs
The YMCA partners with agencies in the community to provide camp experiences for children and youth with a variety of special needs. Please contact the Summer Camp Registration centre who will direct you to the Special Needs Coordinator 647 439 6611 or 1 877 303 2267.
