At YMCA Cedar Glen, we believe that the most important part of camping is the campers. That’s why we make sure to provide all our leadership participants with the support, attention, and care they need throughout their stay with us. To ensure our young leaders stay safe and have fun, we hire experienced and caring staff who have demonstrated a passion for working with children and youth in a camp setting. Additionally, all of our staff must submit a police check and possess a current Standard First Aid qualification before beginning employment with the YMCA. Before the summer begins, all camp staff participate in at least one week of site specific training and planning.
Together, we work to make sure every leadership participant enjoys a fun and rewarding camp experience that they will cherish forever!
