Programs:
Ontario Highschool Credits at YMCA Camp Pine Crest
LIT and CIT participants will have the opportunity to complete Ontario High School credits during their leadership program at camp.
YMCA Camp Pine Crest has been working hard with the YMCA Academy to develop unique programs that would not otherwise be found in the regular school system and will help students to be more successful towards their educational goals.

Course Descriptions:
PAI2O (For LIT and Adventure Leadership programs at least 4 weeks in length)
This is a grade 10 open-level credit that is titled Individual and Small Group.
This course emphasizes regular participation in a variety of enjoyable individual and small group activities that promote life-long healthy active living.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
IDC3O (For CIT and Senior Adventure Leadership Programs)
IDC – means Interdisciplinary Credit, and that means that we are using curriculum expectations from at least two different subjects.
The “3O” means - grade 11 Open credit.
There are no prerequisites, and the courses that we pulling from are:
CGR4E Canadian and World Studies: The Environment and Resource Management
And
PLF4C Health and Physical Education: Recreation and Fitness Leadership
