The YMCA Endowment Fund

Gifts to the Endowment Fund are an investment in the future of the YMCA. Endowment gifts help us maintain our vital programs and services, foster innovation with new programs and services and support the operational sustainability of our 4 new "Centres of Community" in underserved neighbourhoods. Gifts to the Endowment Fund, through either a cash donation or bequest gift through your will, would ensure that the YMCA provides long-term sustainable funding to meet the ever changing needs of our communities.

The Endowment Fund is held in perpetuity and the interest derived from these investments provides income for the YMCA year after year. A portion of the interest is directed to support the YMCA’s area of greatest need, while the remaining interest is reinvested into the fund.
