Do you want to volunteer this summer?

 Summer volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new things and get involved in your community. We have a limited number of summer opportunities available and encourage you to fill out our online application as soon as possible to get the perfect summer volunteer position for you!

Are you interested in a student placement?

Applicants interested in a student placement are asked to contact staff at one of our locations directly to see if there are any opportunities available. A list of all of our program sites and locations can be found here.

Are you interested in a volunteer opportunity for your group?

Group Volunteers are people who represent a corporate or community organization and want to work with the YMCA to build communities which will be home to the healthiest children, teens and young adults. In order for your group to be matched with a suitable Group Volunteer project, please email volunteering@ymcagta.org with the subject line “I Want to Know More About Group Volunteering”.

Child and Family Development Volunteer Opportunities
As the largest provider of not-for-profit licensed child care in Canada, the YMCA of Greater Toronto offers a variety programs throughout the GTA for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.

Employment & Community Volunteer Opportunities
Employment & Community programs provide personalized services to help youth and adult job seekers develop their skills and find meaningful employment. A wide variety of resources and community programs are also available to qualified volunteers such as YMCA Newcomer Settlement Programs, Youth Support Services and International programs. Unique and interesting volunteer opportunities are available.

Health and Fitness Volunteer Opportunities
At the YMCA, we're more than a gym. We're a place where you can be yourself, meet new friends and have fun. At our Health and Fitness Centres we support our members as they strive to reach their potential and work toward their goals as part of an inclusive, caring and healthy community.
