Description
Day Camp buses are supervised by trained Y camp staff bus marshals, and parents are required to sign campers in and out with the bus marshals each day. Children must get on and off at the same bus stop daily. The bus marshals will also ensure that your child(ren) is engaged and having fun to and from Day Camp each day!
Buses depart at the time stated on the bus schedule and will not wait for absent children. Please arrive approximately 10 mins before the stated departure time. Bus times may change so please ensure you check the bus schedule the Friday before your child(ren) is registered to attend Day Camp!

Location
Y Day Camp utilizes many areas of Toronto Islands green space and waterfront to deliver outdoor adventure programs. Junior campers (6-8 year olds) take the Wards Island Ferry and walk to the home base at Snake Island where they participate in a variety of outdoor activities on the large grassy fields with access to waterfront and biking paths. This is a fully outdoor location. Private washrooms and changing trailers will be provided for changing before swimming in the Y owned pool. Senior & Leadership campers (9-15 year olds) take the Centre Island Ferry and walk to the home base near St Andrew’s by the Lake Church where they participate in a variety of activities on the large grassy fields, with access to waterfront and biking paths. This is a fully outdoor location. Public washrooms and changeroom tents will be used before swimming at the Centre Island Beach. Please ensure you come dressed for the weather as our programs operate outside rain or shine! Campers meet their counselors at the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at the bottom of Bay Street before taking the ferry to the Island. Camp operates Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm. PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL POLICY
To withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant’s Registration History via your MY Y Account or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org. Withdrawal’s that are processed online or requested by email 10 days before the start of the program will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 10% per program being withdrawn. Withdrawal requests received with less than 10 days’ notice will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 50% of the cost of the program being cancelled. These requests must be submitted by email to register@ymcagta.org.
GOVERNMENT CHILD CARE FEE ASSISTANCE (SUBSIDY)
To withdraw a participant from a program, you must submit your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org with at least 10 days’ notice prior to the session start date. A doctor's note is required for any withdrawal due to medical reasons. Refunds are not granted for inclement weather. Any request received after the start of the course will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Refunds take 2-3 weeks to process.
PROGRAM TRANSFER POLICY
To transfer a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant’s Registration History via your MY Y Account or by submitting your request to transfer by email to register@ymcagta.org. Transfers must be processed online or requested by email 10 days before the start of the program. Transfer requests received with less than 10 days’ notice will be treated as a withdrawal and will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 50% of the cost of the program being withdrawn. These requests must be submitted by email to register@ymcagta.org.
DISCLAIMER
The YMCA reserves the right to amend a Registrant’s registration if we are unable to confirm where applicable the Registrant’s assisted rate, we will bill at the full cost of the program. All Programs are subject to change or cancellation due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances that are prohibitive to the operation of the Program. In these cases, you will receive a full refund of your fees paid. The YMCA further reserves the right not admit or assume responsibility of a participant, if participant’s medical information is not completed and if the authorization is not signed by the parent/guardian and returned to the YMCA prior to the commencement of the registered program.

Description
Extended hours start as early as 7:30am and end as late as 6:00pm. Hours do vary by location. Children will be provided with a nutritious snack and engage in small group activities as they wind down from their active day at YMCA Day Camp.
PREREQUISITE:
Child must have a current registration in a YMCA Before & After School Program.
*Weekly fees are inclusive of statutory holidays.
