Payment Updates For Members
Our centres were closed from January 5–30, 2022, during which time you were not charged membership fees. We're open again now, but we did not start charging membership fees until February 5, 2022. As a result of this delay, some members may see a small adjustment in their amount owing for the month of February or March. Once we have finished reviewing your account, you will receive an automated email that will direct you to the My Y portal where you will be able to see a breakdown of your fees. We expect all adjustments to be completed by March 31, 2022.

Options to Manage Your Membership
Our centres are open and we hope you're enjoying in-person workouts again! But if you aren't ready to come back yet, or your financial circumstances have changed, we have a few options for you:
Convert to Donations
Make a difference in your community (and get a charitable tax receipt!) by changing your monthly membership fees to donations to the YMCA. Contact Sam at 705-345-9321 or Samantha.Grande@YMCAGTA.ORG.
Financial Assistance
If you are in financial need, you can apply for assistance by completing our form and emailing it to memberservices@ymcagta.org. A staff will conduct a confidential assessment to determine if you qualify.
Hold or Cancel
Fill out our online form to place a temporary hold on your membership; your payments will be paused, and you won’t have to pay a join fee when you’re ready to come back. Or, use the form to cancel your membership.
Your Fellow Members Who Give Back

When our centres had to close during the pandemic, members like James started donating their monthly membership fees, ensuring our charity could provide essentials like emergency shelter and food security programming.

* Terms & Conditions: Temporary Hold
When you place a hold on your membership, no further payments will be taken until you notify us to reactivate your membership. You will continue to receive regular communication from the YMCA. You will not have access to programming at any YMCA of Greater Toronto Health and Fitness centre. You will also lose your priority standing in any registered programs. Once you reactivate, you will not have to pay a join fee unless your time on hold is over 365 days. After 365 consecutive days of being on hold, you may be eligible to pay a join fee.
