"Sam’s been here for five years. He’s done everything from the farm camp, arts and craft, swim, outdoor adventure — he's done it all. There’s just so much to do in the summer and he’s having a great time. Being outside in this kind of environment is so wonderful for them. He’s got more empathy more communication collaboration, he’s a leader and he takes those skills away from camp."

— Lindsay

"My child was in the arts program. I was impressed by the professional direction and the number of final products that came home. We were happy all summer!"

— Paige C.

"My main reason for picking YMCA this year for summer camp was because I have built a trust with this community on how they treat my child, and she always seems very engaged in the activities that are conducted.

It’s the small things that have the biggest impact, like remembering her name and greeting her every morning. She smiles and giggles every time because it makes her feel like she is special and part of the group."

— Laura M.

A Camp Where Everyone Belongs

Camp is about fun, friendship, and creating lasting, positive memories. To make sure campers, staff, and volunteers have the best experience possible, we’re sharing our expectations about how to treat each other and our camp.

Bussing to Camp

Getting to camp has never been easier with 10 bus routes across the GTA, giving campers more opportunities to explore, connect, and grow. Safety is always the top priority, followed by fun. Each bus is staffed with at least two counsellors, and campers are grouped by age to help build friendships right from the start.

The bus ride is an extension of the camp experience, filled with songs, games, and excitement that set the tone for an amazing day. Toronto Island and YMCA Cedar Glen routes are also equipped with GPS tracking so you can check pick-up and drop-off times with ease.
