Description

Adult swim lessons have a maximum of 8 participants per class, and teach adults fundamental swimming and water safety skills. Instructors are able to tailor each class to suit the students' learning requirements and pace. These classes are for those new to swimming who would like to be safer in and around the water.
Prerequisite: Participants must have an active membership to the YMCA of Greater Toronto.

Location

Conveniently located next to the Scarborough Town Shopping Centre, this YMCA offers child care, health and fitness, employment, new immigrant, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free to members.

PREREQUISTE:
Participants must have an active membership to the YMCA of Greater Toronto.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Goggles are recommended for this class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if a participant misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
