Description
Take this course after you've completed Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid with CPR B. This course is the prerequisite for National Lifeguard. You'll enjoy more advanced training, including an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities. A timed 400 meter swim is included.
Standard First Aid is the WSIB-recognized certification required by Early Childhood Educators, Dental, Electricians, Sports Coaches and many other professionals. Designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid and CPR. Includes CPR-C certification.
Prerequisite: You must have Bronze Medallion and valid Emergency First Aid certification.
Location
The Oshawa Y is a family-friendly centre offering child care, health and fitness services, and community programming. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free for members.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
