Description
In this Mindfulness Meditation class we will introduce and have opportunity to practice the following;
•Mindfulness of breath •Mindfulness to ease and relax the body •Mindfulness of thoughts •Metta or Loving Kindness
In each class, we will have a grounding practice, a brief talk , guided practice and time to share. This is a secular practice - meaning non-religious.
Please note: Participants who are not YMCA members will be required to present valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Please remember to bring your ID with you to the tournament/workshop/clinic.
Location
A new state-of-the-art YMCA is now open on Kingston Road in the Upper Beach area. Our newest Centre of Community is a 60,000 square foot, fully accessible facility.
