Description
This is for all students currently in the "Karate - Novice" class, or students previously registered in "Karate-Intro". In this class, student will learn the syllabus for the next Karate level. Grading will occur on the second last week of classes.
Location
Conveniently located next to the Scarborough Town Shopping Centre, this YMCA offers child care, health and fitness, employment, new immigrant, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free to members.

Please bring a water bottle to each class and ensure that students have used the bathroom prior to the start of class.
CANCELLATION POLICY:To withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant’s Registration History via your MY Y Account through MyY.YMCAGTA.ORG or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to memberservices@YMCAGTA.ORG
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
CHANGE TO MEMBERSHIP:
If you cancel your paid monthly or yearly membership, your program registration fee may be subject to adjustment based on the rates applicable to your new membership status.
PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS:
At the YMCA, we are committed to providing a consistent and high-quality experience for all participants. However, there may be occasions where programs need to be cancelled.
If a program is cancelled due to reasons within the YMCA’s control—such as facility maintenance, staff availability, or scheduling conflicts—a credit will be automatically applied to your account for future use.
Please note that no credits or refunds will be issued for program cancellations resulting from events outside of the YMCA’s control. These include, but are not limited to, severe weather, power outages, or other unforeseen emergencies that impact program delivery.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all members and participants.
