Description
This is the WSIB-recognized certification required by Early Childhood Educators, Dental, Electricians, Sports Coaches and many other professionals. Designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid and CPR.
Incorporates all Emergency First Aid content as well as spinal injuries, burns, heat stroke, hypothermia, broken bones, sprains, dislocations, impaled objects, and other life-threatening medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course.
Location
For over 35 years, this YMCA has been providing child care, camps, and health and fitness services to members of its diverse surrounding community. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. Free parking is available on-site for members.

Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
