Description
Please Note: This is an all gender program. Cabin accommodations will be all gender.
Get ready for an incredible week of outdoor education, leadership building, adventure, and winter fun at YMCA Camp Pine Crest!
March Break Leadership Overnight Camp is open to youth ages 14 to 16 and takes place from March 15 to 19, 2027. Participants will spend the week exploring our beautiful 650 acre property in the heart of Muskoka, playing outdoors, challenging themselves, building leadership skills, and making new friends.
Winter camp is a unique experience that encourages participants to embrace the outdoors while enjoying seasonal activities that are not available at camp during other times of the year.
Activities are weather dependent and may include snowshoeing, cross country skiing, high ropes, arts and crafts, snow tubing, maple sugaring, and so much more. Activities will have a focus on leadership development, giving participants opportunities to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and explore different leadership styles.
The week includes three meals per day and snacks, accommodation, and counselor led programming and supervision throughout the day and night.
Transportation
Bus transportation to and from camp is included. Parents are also welcome to drop off and pick up their campers directly at Camp Pine Crest if preferred.
The bus to camp will depart from the Central YMCA at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 15 and travel to Camp Pine Crest.
The bus home will depart Camp Pine Crest at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19 and is expected to arrive at the Central YMCA at approximately 4:30 p.m.
For families driving their campers to camp, parent drop off begins at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Lunch begins at 12:15 p.m., so we ask that parents complete drop off and depart camp by that time.
For families picking up their campers directly from camp on Friday, parent arrival begins at 1:30 p.m.
What to Bring
Please remember to pack the following items for your camper:
• Sleeping bag or bedding and pillow• Winter jacket and snow pants• Toque and mitts or gloves• Winter boots and indoor shoes or slippers• Warm, comfortable everyday clothing• Towel and toiletries• Water bottle
Cost
March Break Camp is $945 HST per participant. Bus transportation to and from camp is included in the cost.
Please note that 1:1 camper support is not available for this camp session.

YMCA Financial Assistance
If you require Financial Assistance, please complete this form with proof of income. We recommend you continue to register for the program(s) of your choice. This is to hold your spot(s) until assistance approval is received. Spots and assistance are not guaranteed, and YMCA assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register in advance of assistance approval, a credit card will be required for a deposit payment. You will receive a full refund if assistance is not approved, and you choose not to attend the program.

Notes
PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL POLICY:If you wish to withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant's registration history via your My Y Account or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org.
Withdrawals must be processed online or requested by email prior to the program start date. Refunds will be granted as follows:
- a full refund minus the admin fee of $25 if you cancel more than 14 days prior to the activity start date
- if it's less than 14 days we refund 50% of the cost
- if it's less that 7 days we refund 25% of the cost
- medical withdrawals accompanied by a doctor's note get a full refund no matter the timing
- we don't offer refunds for inclement weather
No refund of any amount will be granted for non-medical withdrawals on or after the program start date. Refunds will not be issued in instances where participant(s) is/are removed from the camp program at the choice or request of the participant or the participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) or are dismissed from the camp for contravention of camp guidelines or the code of conduct.
DISCLAIMER
All programs are subject to change or cancellation due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances that are prohibitive to the operation of the program. In these cases, you will receive a full refund of your fees paid.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto and Camp Pine Crest are not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen personal gear and/or equipment while participating in our programs.
