Come enjoy some time with your family at YMCA Cedar Glen during our Winter Family Camp Weekend!
Arrival begins at 4pm on Friday, February 13th - don't stress if you can't make it right for 4pm though, dinner will be served at 6:15pm until 7:00pm.
The experience includes 3 meals/day & snacks, accommodation in our Lodges, and staff-led programming throughout the days and evenings. Mornings will contain age-group activities to provide parents with some time away from their kids and afternoons will have family programs that you can attend together. Family Camp will wrap up at 4:00pm on Sunday, February 15th.
Accommodation for the weekend will be in our lodges. We will allocate rooms based on each families' individual needs and the total number of registrants. Our Lodges contain individual bedrooms that sleep up to 4 people in each, along with an ensuite washroom.
Meals! Our kitchen staff will prepare nutritious, tasty meals along with a nightly snack for everyone. Individuals who have dietary needs (ie. vegetarian, gluten-free, food allergy) enjoy a menu modified to suit their needs. Dietary information is captured from individuals at registration and later confirmed by our Operations team.
What should you bring with you to camp? Participants bring their own bedding, usually a pillow, single fitted sheet and either sleeping bag or blanket. Clothing suitable for the time of year, toiletries, as well as any personal items that will help make your stay more comfortable are encouraged. You will be provided with a suggested packing list a few weeks in advance of the start of camp.

Situated on 263 acres of the Oak Ridges Moraine, YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre is the perfect place for children, youth and adults to grow in confidence and learn new skills. Cedar Glen welcomes outdoor education, retreat and conference groups, offering meals in our dining hall, overnight accommodations, meeting facilities and outdoor experiential education programs. Day camp runs during summer and school breaks, and a modern child care centre provides licensed care in the natural setting.
