Description
Come take some time to relax at Pine Crest this spring at our All-Gender Adult Retreat Weekend. Prioritizing simplicity, doing yoga, crackling fires, homemade hot drinks, saunas, cold plunges, music, time spent enjoying nature and massages with an RMT are all on the docket. Refresh yourself with activities outdoors, delicious meals, and relaxing by the lake on our beautiful 650 acre property in the heart of Muskoka.
Arrival begins at 5:00PM on Friday May 8th, with a buffet dinner served between 6:00PM - 7:00PM. The weekend includes 3 meals/day & snacks, accommodation in our cabins, and staff-led programming throughout the days and evenings. Departure from Pine Crest is by 2:30PM on Sunday May 10th. You're welcome to enjoy Pine Crest at your own pace while reading on the dock or by the fire, going for a walk on one of our nature trails OR join staff-led activities like candle making, canoeing, kayaking, fire building (with homemade hot drinks!), saunas & cold plunges, yoga, walks in nature, sessions with a nutritionist, natural watercolour painting & more.
Wink & Wave Mobile Wellness will have an RMT on-site during the weekend. Massages will be available to book & pay for separately from this event registration. Please indicate interest at the time of booking and we will connect you with Wink & Wave to take things from there.
Our accommodations are back-to-basics set-ups with only the essentials. Beds are 'camp-style' - all single mattresses and all bunk beds (no one will have to sleep on a top bunk unless you'd like). Accommodations will be shared - each cabin will have a few people in it (great opportunity to bring friends you'd like to stay with!). Our cabins are scattered around our beautifully rugged site and are one-room spaces each containing 5 single-sized bunk beds. They have electrical outlets as well as small heaters in them to take the edge off on chilly nights. Section washrooms containing toilets, sinks and showers aren't in the cabins but are located centrally and are only a short walk away. If you'd like to make a cabin/lodge or roommate request, please do so at the time of registration.

Meals! Each day, our food services team prepare nutritious, tasty meals along with a nightly snack for everyone. Individuals who have dietary needs (ex. vegetarian, gluten-free, food allergies) enjoy a menu modified to suit their needs. Please indicate any dietary restriction or food allergy information at registration.
What should you bring with you to this retreat weekend? Participants bring their own bedding, usually a single fitted sheet and either sleeping bag or blanket. Clothing suitable for the time of year, toiletries, as well as any personal items that will help make your stay more comfortable are encouraged. We believe that coming to Pine Crest should be a return to the basics where interaction with those around you is prioritized, and with that in mind encourage you to leave electronics and other valuables at home.
Transportation to and from this event is not included.

Notes
All lodge rooms will be double occupancy. All cabins will be shared.
CANCELATION POLICY:
Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to YMCA Camp Pine Crest at camp.pinecrest@ymcagta.org
A full refund minus a $30 admin fee will be issued for cancellation requests received more than 14 days prior to the start date. Cancellation requests received at least 14 days before the start date will receive a refund of 50% of the total fee. Cancellation requests received with less than 7 days’ notice will receive a refund of 25% of the total fee.
A doctor's note is required for any withdrawal due to medical reasons. Refunds are not granted for inclement weather. Any request received after the start of the course will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Refunds take 2-3 weeks to process.
