Pine Crest supplies the staff, facilities, and programing for day and overnight bookings throughout the year. We work with schools, sports teams, conferences, youth groups, and special interest groups to design tailored experiences - including canoeing and hiking trips.

All certification courses are offered through accredited organizations, such as Wilderness Medical Associates, Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) and the Lifesaving Society. Courses are open to the public and fill on a first-come-first-served basis. Some of the courses we're offering include:

We are putting together a highly-skilled staff team for the 2024 Summer season! If you, or someone you know of, would make a good fit for our team, please e-mail us at pinecrestbookings@ymcagta.org.
We are looking for staff who are dedicated to working with children and passionate about kids and the outdoors. In order to work in the Spring, Outdoor Educators must have a minimum of Standard First Aid and CPR-C. For the Summer, staff must have a minimum of Standard First Aid, CPR-C and their Lifeguarding certificate. Further certifications may be required for other positions.
