YMCA Camp Pine Crest is located on 650 acres of beautiful Muskoka, Ontario wilderness, nestled among three lakes.

We operate year-round with a large summer overnight camp program, growing winter programs, and busy spring and fall outdoor centre seasons.

Camps

Overnight Camp

For ages 5 to 14, Overnight Camp means classic summer fun. Canoes, campfires, cabins, and the kind of days that are so packed with activity they fall asleep with a smile on their face. Stay for three days, one week, or two.

Leadership Camp

Teens age 13 to 16 can level up with Leadership Camp. These campers head off on unforgettable trips to incredible places across Canada, building skills, confidence, and a serious love for the outdoors.

Day Camp

We have two great day camp options for kids aged 4–12 - Little Critters (ages 4-8) and Nature Explorers (ages 9-12).

We provide a safe and engaging camp experience where kids can get outside, make new friends and enjoy a wide range of summer camp programs. Day camp operates Monday–Friday throughout the summer between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

Programs for School Groups

YMCA Camp Pine Crest is a year-round Outdoor Education centre offering programs in the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. Our Outdoor Education programs offer school groups a variety of curriculum-based programs, designed for elementary, high school, college, or university students. Program lengths range from partial days to multi-night experiences - including available canoe and hiking trips, and are tailored to meet the needs of your group.

YMCA Camp Pine Crest provides your students with the experience of a lifetime including:

Adventure — explore the outdoors throughout Fall, Winter and Spring at our 650-acre wilderness site
Discovery— personal growth and group development through teamwork and community building
Comfort — lodge accommodation with modern washrooms and showers or shared living space in traditional cabins
Spirit — connection to others and the natural world

Programming is also available for sports teams, corporate groups, and special interest groups, and we have indoor/outdoor space available for conferences and retreats.

What's Happening

Pine Crest supplies the staff, facilities, and programing for day and overnight bookings throughout the year. We work with schools, sports teams, conferences, youth groups, and special interest groups to design tailored experiences - including canoeing and hiking trips.

All certification courses are offered through accredited organizations, such as Wilderness Medical Associates, Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) and the Lifesaving Society.
