At the Y, we believe that children learn best when their natural activity of play is encouraged. Our curriculum, YMCA Playing to Learn™, offers programming focused on fostering a child’s enthusiasm and capacity for lifelong learning through active and quiet play experiences. Qualified YMCA educators will engage in play activities with your child that stimulate early learning while enhancing their social, emotional, and physical development, building their confidence, and developing essential school readiness skills.

We host a range of leadership development programs for youth, an annual Youth Triathlon, a Girls’ Health and Wellness program, and the most popular, widely attended Teen Nights of any Y in the GTA.
