How to Become a Volunteer

Fun! Rewarding! Amazing! That's just some of the ways YMCA volunteers describe their volunteering experience. Join us!

Volunteering is a great way to connect with other community members, expand your friendship circle, develop skills, and complete community service or student placement hours. We are inspired by the number of people who want to join us in helping to create vibrant communities.

Our department is undergoing some exciting changes, and we are pausing volunteer and student placement applications until mid-January 2026. You are welcome to check back for updates.

If you have any questions, please email our team at volunteering@ymcagta.org.
