YMCA GTA Telefundraising

Telefundraising is a traditional yet effective way for the Y to raise essential revenue for our ongoing and life-changing work for youth experiencing homelessness. The Y currently works with the agency Fundraising Direct to carry out our telefundraising activities. With the help of their well-trained and Y-knowledgeable call agents, we can enrich relationships with our existing generous donors and members, raise awareness of our programs and share how donations can support unhoused youth in building brighter futures for themselves. The telefundraising campaign is designed to acquire monthly donors, and there are other options for those wanting to make a one-time gift.

By giving monthly, your support will allow the Y to provide more than just a temporary shelter bed. With the help of generous and sustainable recurring giving, the Y is able to deliver life-changing services to unhoused youth, like pre-employment and financial literacy training, mental health support, and housing support services. Monthly gifts will allow us to support a youth with a fresh start as they transition from homelessness to independent living.

In addition, when you donate to the Y today, The Barrett Family Foundation will match your gift for 2X the impact. That means, for one year, your monthly gift will be doubled to support more unhoused youth
